Respect for the truth is an acquired taste

i got 8+ hours of sleep last night....quite unusual for me.
I woke up at seven....so some simple math will tell us I fell asleep between 10 and 11. I was up this morning for about an hour. Enough to get a small bowl of oatmeal in my stomach, then I literally face-planted in my bed for another 4 hours. My body feels completely exhausted...but maybe I'm just incredibly lazy today.

My dogs are like WTF?!?! we wanna play!
Sorry kids.
Mama's gonna be a lazy ass today. Join me if you wish.

Anywho........I had a few interesting dreams and all of them got me questioning the idea of fate? What is fate? is there such a thing? Is there a certain path or journey that God (or whatever force you believe in) considers ideal for us to take, but we ultimately choose? Or do we have no say whatsoever in the outcome of our lives? <----this one is hard to make sense of, but many of us believe it. If you believe it, what have you experienced in your life that makes you do so?


There was my intellectual contribution for today....I'll be very interested in what y'all have to say....maybe i  can make sense of my dreams.
